    Hiring now: Full or Part-time school-based Occupational Therapist in Oakland, CA!

    We are seeking a Full-time or Part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) in-person for a school-based assignment in Oakland/Richmond, CA to join our team in treating and assisting with school-based needs. You will have a caseload of approximately 25 elementary & middle school students to provide services, develop IEPs, and assess – Below average caseload size, supportive, inclusive charter school district; it’s the perfect position!

    Celebrations Speech Group is a private practice and Non-Public Agency with decades of experience providing quality special education and therapy services to children with special needs in schools, homes, and in-clinic.     Responsibilities:

    Implement direct Occupational Therapy services and implement IEP treatment plan.

    If needed, supervision of a COTA.

    Document and store treatment plans and progress reports.

    Update student progress reports.

    Implement and document the therapeutic interventions and provide feedback to the special education team and COTA on the student's progress during treatment.

    Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

    Attend training as requested, collaborate, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.

    Qualifications:

    REQUIRED: Current California Board of Occupational Therapy license.

    Graduate Degree in Occupational Therapy with an active California OT license or eligibility pending.

    Ability to build rapport with staff.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Positive and collaborative demeanor.
