POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cell Associate will perform multiple tasks simultaneously within a work cell. This position requires the associate to setup and run multiple pieces of equipment and or process steps at the same time, multitasking between process steps and equipment. This position is generally contained within a work cell and requires an associate to stand and move about within a cell throughout the work hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned. The Cell Operator shall be responsible for the following:
●Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity and Housekeeping standards and metrics.
●Perform setup of equipment, autowinders, meters, thermal shock etc. and all other process equipment used in operations.
●Meeting of daily throughput requirements
●Standard work sequences associated with cellular manufacturing within the associate assigned work area(s).
●Performs multiple tasks simultaneously within a work cell.
●Setup and run multiple pieces of equipment and/or process steps such as but not limited to: Auto winding, Lead Straightening, Molding, Cut & Fold, Loading, Deflashing, Printing/Laser, Testing, Soldering, Cleaning, Coating/Varnishing, Visual inspection, and Packaging.
● Adherence to company policies and standard work procedures and sequences within the associates assigned area of work.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
●High School education or GED equivalent
●Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
●Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
●Must be able to use a hand calculator and understand decimals.
●Must have good eyesight, and hand eye coordination.
●Must be able to reason, understand, carryout daily tasks and functions prescribed by supervisor and work procedures assigned either individually or in cell/team environment.
●Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and all written work procedures, guidelines.
●Ability to work in a team environment.

COMPENSATION
$18.50-$20.00/hour
First and second shift positions available.
