As a leader in early childhood education, we are looking for a passionate and dynamic Center Director to oversee the daily operations of our Newington center.
Position Overview: As the Center Director, you will play a key leadership role in managing the day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring high-quality education and care, and fostering a positive and supportive environment for children, parents, and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with a passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of daily center operations, including staff management, curriculum delivery, and facility maintenance.
Lead and mentor a team of teachers and staff to ensure that all policies, procedures, and state regulations are followed.
Create and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families.
Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication and support.
Manage budgets, staff schedules, and ensure the center meets performance and financial goals.
Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to grow enrollment.
Monitor and evaluate children's progress and ensure educational goals are being met.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a leadership role in early childhood education, preferably as a Center Director or Assistant Director.
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and state licensing requirements.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build a positive culture and foster a high-performing team.
Passionate about providing a safe and educational environment for children.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual Salary: Up to $60,000
Performance-based Bonus: Up to $5,000 annually
