Position Summary:
The Central Students Pastor will oversee the development of and provide direction for all programs and people aimed at the spiritual formation of students in grades 7-12 at Vox Church. Having a vision for the development of youth ministry across all locations of a mutli-site church, it is further the responsibility of the Central Students Pastor (CSP) to actively resource, support and see leaders developed at the local campus levels – volunteer and staff - equipping them to connect with and properly guide students in their faith journey with Christ. A goal of the CSP is also to provide support for parents of teens within the church as they embrace their God-given responsibility to guide their children in the formation of hearts that understand the gospel and that love and are committed to Jesus. Relatedly, the CSP will work closely with both the Ministries Pastor and the Central VoxKids Director to create and implement a unified vision for the spiritual journey of the whole child grounded in Jesus Christ, birth thru grade 12.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee the continued development of strategy related to the scaling of multi-site youth ministry.
Work with Campus Pastors to oversee and ensure the development of the youth program (phases) at each church locations.
Oversee the content, calendar and system to train and equip all youth directors (volunteer and staff) at each church location to be able to effectively minister to and disciple students.
Leadership of Central Youth Directional Team – comprised of local youth directors from each location - with the purpose of training and cross-campus collaboration. It is through the equipping of the Central Youth DT that these local youth directors as able to effectively execute local Youth House programming as it emerges at their location in phases. Again, also being led by the Central Students Pastor, the Central Youth DT strategizes and provides leadership for the execution of centrally offered events and programs to all campuses. (Fall and winter retreats, worship nights, all campus outreaches, summer missions opportunities, and summer all church youth games.)
Pastor and facilitate the weekly Youth House gatherings at one of the largest church regional locations while also ensuring implementation of system for all regular regional youth house gatherings. (currently total of 4)
Develop and coordinate Bible teaching content/curriculum to be used for both regionally offered Youth House gathering AND smaller, location specific Youth House small groups.
Develop content and cadence of material to be used for periodic discipleship classes for students to be used primarily at permanent locations on Sundays.
Collaborating with VoxFamilies ministry, facilitate centrally/regionally offered parenting equipping initiatives to support parents of teens as well as provide direction and support for the development of a parent prayer community.
Work with Family Ministry Director to cultivate and implement program and events for “transition points” in child/teens spiritual development in partnership with parents. (example: fathers/son initiation weekend)
Facilitate the development of the system of partnership with VoxOutreach to provide regular outreach/mission opportunities for students at all locations.
Ensure the implementation of uniform standards for safe and secure interaction between youth leaders – volunteer and staff – and students at all locations.
Ensure the oversight of existing database systems used for tracking student data. Build out regular reporting measures to ensure that we have accurate and current data reflecting student involvement as well as ongoing student discipleship needs.
Ensure proper development and maintence of Students social media and promotion.

Education/Background:
4-5 years of ministry experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in ministry, education or related field preferred.
