Position Title: Central Women Director Campus: Central Support
Reports To: Lead Adult Ministry Pastor Status: 28-hour, PT-Non-Exempt
Position Summary: Be visionary and strategic in the creation of teams, opportunities and programs to further ministry engagement and growth. Champion ministry engagement in Central’s vision.
Position is part-time at 28 hours per week with flexible, virtual office work hours that may include evenings. Dedicated church office hours to be determined. Position requires weekend service participation.
This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the mission and vision of Central Christian Church.
Responsibilities:
Planning, budgeting and spiritual oversight for women’s ministry at all Central campuses
Cast vision and lead staff personnel for Central Women
Lead Central Women Campus Leads for ministry alignment across all Central campuses
Build, train and empower volunteer leadership teams to support Central, campuses and Central Women ministry
Create serving opportunities for the women at Central in all ministry areas
Oversight and responsibility of Single Mom’s ministry and outreach efforts, supervising the Single Mom’s Coordinator.
Initiate creativity and hold oversight to achieve relevant Central Women Events
Plan and maintain budget in line with Central vision and initiatives
Perform all administrative duties needed for position
Support all staff duties and functions for Central
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Have minimum three years of ministry or non-profit experience through serving or vocation
Proven leadership experience in project management
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Have recent team building and team leadership experience in a ministerial or corporate environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Be an innovator while executing daily tasks with excellence
Be proficient in MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word with demonstrated experience using social media
Should have knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop and provide a digital portfolio
Must show evidence of multi-generational cultural awareness and ministerial forums for care and opportunities for women
