    Position overview

    We are looking for a ceramics consultant to advise on matters related to processing of high-performance monolithic and composite ceramics, specifically with knowledge pertaining to one or more of the following:

    • Subtractive manufacturing/machining
    • Additive manufacturing
    • Thermal processing
    • Dry and/or wet processing

    Responsibilities

    • Hold recurring calls with Canopy product development and manufacturing teams to transfer knowledge and drive critical decisions.
    • Advise on part design, capex procurement, and processing implementation.
    • Spend time on-site advising Canopy personnel on the above, if applicable.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Pay range: $50-$200/hr

    Actual level and base salary determined on a case-by-case basis and could vary depending on education, job-related knowledge and skills, fit with the company, and experience.

    Other Requirements

    To conform with U.S. Export Regulations, candidates must be one of the following:

    • U.S. Citizen or national
    • U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)
    • Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
    • Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S
