Occupational Therapy Assistant
A Skilled Nursing Facility in Peoria, Arizona is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our skilled therapy team. This role provides a patient-centered approach in a 39-bed skilled facility, offering minimum 30-minute sessions five times a week. Rehab techs are available to assist with patient transport and scheduled therapy sessions for all disciplines. The work schedule follows normal weekday hours, and full benefits are offered with full-time employment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities
- Help patients improve motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities
- Assist with the development and implementation of adaptive equipment and assistive technology
- Document patient progress and communicate with the occupational therapist regarding treatment outcomes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment
- Fingerprint clearance card required
