Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our digital lab team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, repairing, and modifying dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances based on the specifications provided by dentists. The Dental Technician will utilize advanced technology and materials to ensure high-quality outcomes and patient satisfaction
Qualifications: • Education: Completion of a dental technology program or equivalent training. (Preferred) • Experience: 1 year of experience working as a dental technician in a laboratory setting. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using dental laboratory equipment and technology, including CAD/CAM systems, digital imaging, 3D printing, and planning and designing Software (Exocad/3Shape preferred). • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to pay close attention to detail, ensuring precision in all aspects of fabrication. • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with dental professionals. • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve any issues related to design or fabrication. • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also managing individual tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: • Prosthetic Fabrication: Construct, repair, and modify dental prosthetics including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances. • Case Analysis: Review and interpret prescriptions and work orders from dentists to determine the specifications and requirements for each case. • Model Creation: Create precise dental models and impressions from which prosthetics are made, ensuring accuracy in fit and functionality. • Quality Control: Inspect and test dental prosthetics for fit, function, and aesthetics, making necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality outcomes. • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as furnaces, 3D printer and CAD/CAM systems to fabricate dental prosthetics. • Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials based on the specific needs of each case and the preferences of the dentist or patient. • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure the successful completion of prosthetics and address any concerns or modifications. • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including materials used, time spent on each case, and any issues encountered. • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a clean and sterile working environment.
Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday
