    The Primary responsibility of the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), OTR/L is to provide direct patient care upon physician referral.

    Required Skills

    • Ability to perform patient care utilizing correct body mechanics.
    • Competent to evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses for patients who may be infants, children, adults or older adults.
    • Professional experience includes advanced clinical and professional Hand skills, on-going clinical and professional growth and active participation in program development
    • Basic and Advanced splinting skills

    Required Experience

    Required:

    • Registered by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) and the California Board of Occupational Therapy
    • Must maintain a current California Occupational Therapist license
    • Current Hand Therapy Certification
    • 5 years of Hand experience required

    Preferred:

    • Spanish speaking
    • Basic Windows and Excel skills
    • CPR certification
