Responsibilities of the Certified Home Health Aide
Ability to perform personal care activities that will enable patients with their activities of daily living, this includes and not limited to:
Personal Hygiene (assist with toileting and bathroom)
Dressing/Shaving
Prepare meals and snacks according to specific diet instructions
Ambulation/Transfers
Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments
Perform light housekeeping activities which includes (not limited to vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens and cleaning bathrooms).
Certified Home Health Aides should have the following skills and qualifications:
High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
At least 1 year experience as a Caregiver/ Certified Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide - a must have
Must be fully covid vaccinated & boosted
2-step PPD
Physical within the last 12 months
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile
Compensation and Benefits for the Certified Home Health Aide-
Full-Time, Part-Time, Per-Diem Salary: $17-20 per hour (depending on experience and case)
