    Certified Home Health Aide - Everett WA and Surrounding Areas

    • Start Date: ASAP
    • Shift: 8hr Days (This facility cannot accommodate 4x10s or 3x12s.)
    • Ratios: (*May visit up to 6 patients per day; 30 productivity points standard) , traveler will visit 5-6 patients daily
    • Years of Experience REQ:1 YR of Skilled Home Health Experience
    • First-Timers Accepted: No
    • Weekend REQ: No

    • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No

    • Locals Accepted: Yes; Considered "local" within 50-75 mile radius, will accept locals at the same rate
    • Pending License Accepted: No - traveler must have CNA license
    • RTO Restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager
    • Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off UP TO one shift per pay period (every two weeks)

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Traveler is expected to have their own transportation
    • System does a good job grouping clients minimizing drive and windshield time. Occasional maximum radius of 50+ miles.
    • Traveler MUST have HHA Certification and CNA License

    Job Summary

    We are looking for a Certified Home Health/Hospice Aide to join our team! You will directly work with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.

    Responsibilities

    Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles

    Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care

    Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor

    Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert

    Give medications and immunizations

    Engage patients in exercises or other activities

    Qualifications

    Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program

    High School Diploma or GED

    One year prior professional experience

    Driver’s license required

    CPR certification required
