The Certified Hospice Aide (CHA) works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and the Clinical Supervisor. The hospice aide performs various services for a patient as is necessary to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort following the HA plan of care developed by the registered nurse in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team/group (IDG). The Certified Hospice Aide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed.
Required Qualifications:
California Home Health Aide License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
1 year of experience.
Driving is a necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
