We’re looking for experienced Certified ICD-10 Coders and OASIS Review Specialists to join our dynamic team! If you meet the qualifications within this job description, are a self-starter, and are a team-oriented person, we want you!

As part of our team, you will be integral in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient data, while working with the agency to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities:

Perform in-depth reviews of home health documentation in EMR system, focusing on ICD-10 coding, OASIS, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Review clinical OASIS assessments (SOC/ROC/Recert) and 485 data for accuracy, appropriateness, and completeness, ensuring adherence to CMS regulations and client policies.

Ensure ICD-10 coding is appropriate and accurately sequenced, reflecting the patient's medical condition.

Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve any data integrity issues and recommend corrections in accordance with client policies.

Act as a resource for clinicians regarding OASIS, ICD-10 coding, and PDGM guidelines.

Support additional record review tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

HCSD or BCHH-C ICD-10 certification (preferred)

OASIS (COS-C/HCS-O) certification (preferred)

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in home health coding and OASIS review (Required)

Experience in quality assurance or management within a home health setting is preferred.

Extensive knowledge of CMS home health regulations including OASIS, coding, and plan of care requirements.

Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills, with a focus on excellence.

Ability to work independently and within a team.
