Job description
Looking for Certified Lifeguards and Pool Attendees for our Condominiums and Homeowner's Association Pool locations. We’re looking for a Lifeguard with prior pool experience and the ability to work flexible shifts throughout the summer, though we’re willing to make exceptions for school-related obligations. The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in the water and reliable transportation. Pools are located throughout Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange Counties.
Responsibilities:
Open the pool each day and close it down each evening, depending on schedule and hours
Treat the pool with appropriate concentration of chemicals on a regular schedule
Monitor pool-related activities closely throughout shift and identify any safety issues
Direct swimmers out of the pool in hazardous conditions
Monitor weather reports closely to ensure safety of guests
Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool
Provide assistance to patrons when appropriate or necessary
Sign in Patrons
Ensure Pool Rules are being followed by Patrons
Skills: (Certifications not needed for Attendee Position)
Current and valid ARC certification
First Aid and CPR certifications
Ability to pass pre-employment practical skills test in the water
2+ years’ lifeguard experience preferred
Flexible schedule required

Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
