    Shift: Part-Time (Wednesday Only)

    We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist for our Concord Clinic, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients' rehabilitation and recovery journey. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing therapeutic massages that complement our physical therapy treatments, helping patients alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve their overall quality of life.

    Position Summary:

    • Evaluate clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion
    • Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used
    • Discuss with physical therapists to develop treatment plans for clients
    • Massage and knead the muscles and soft tissues of the human body in order to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries or wellness maintenance
    • Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records of clients
    • Operates therapeutic devices, to include devices for the application of electrotherapy, ultrasound, heat, cold, iontophoresis, biofeedback, and compression
    • Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas)
    • Document treatments accurately through EMR system

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED and successful completion of Therapeutic Massage school
    • 1+ years of post-licensure experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
    • Experience in Medical Massage Therapy highly preferred
    • Current California Certification for Massage Therapy
