Qualifications

Strong communication skills and customer service skills

Ability to use a computer to complete administrative tasks

High school graduate or has GED

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants(AAMA) or other certifying agency

Over 1 year of work experience as a medical assistant performing phlebotomy duties or similar role in a healthcare work environment is preferred

Adam Bruggeman MD PLLC provides comprehensive pre-surgical clearances for patients prior to surgery, manages post-operative pain medication prescriptions, and provides weekly post-operative care for surgical patients until they no longer require opiates for post-op pain management.
