Atlanta Men's Clinic is looking for a qualified certified medical assistant to join our team on a part time basis. You will be responsible for day-to-day clinical and administrative duties including phlebotomy, injections and IV's for existing patients, scheduling, maintaining drug inventory/logs, patient insurance information, managing patient leads and medical & staff records. You will also assist our physicians during minor in-office procedures and follow up appointments.
As an MA at Atlanta Men's Clinic, you should be educated on the services we offer and also demonstrate excellent clinical, personal, & organizational skills, with the ability to perform well in stressful situations. Experience with services such as hormone replacement, weight loss, diet, aesthetics are preferred.
This position requires in depth knowledge of our services and the ability to communicate warmly with patients. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflow and uninterrupted service in our office.
Responsibilities
Regular clinical duties including existing patient weekly/monthly follow up visits, managing payments, scheduling, following up with patient leads, and more
Assisting our physician with minor, in-office procedures
Managing DEA logs for drug inventory and ordering office supplies
Managing patient health insurance information
Maintain medical and staff records
Provide informative material to patients
Maintain compliance with current healthcare licensing, medical laws and high ethical standards
Skills
Experience as certified medical assistant
Experience using EMR software
Experience with health insurance and coding
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong knowledge of our medical services
Strong computer skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
