Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly-skilled and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care under the supervision of healthcare professionals. The Certified Medical Assistant will assist with various clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our healthcare facility and the wellbeing of our patients.

Responsibilities:
1. Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
3. Collect patient medical histories and update electronic health records.
4. Prepare patients for medical examinations and procedures.
5. Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and preventive care.
6. Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals to specialists.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment.
8. Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
3. Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
4. BLS certification.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
7. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
8. Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Prior experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.
