Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team at Columbia Orthopaedic Group. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality patient care and support to our medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record patient vital signs and medical histories.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and well-stocked.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Current CMA certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
