    Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team at Columbia Orthopaedic Group. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality patient care and support to our medical staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures.
    • Take and record patient vital signs and medical histories.
    • Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and well-stocked.
    • Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
    • Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
    • Educate patients on health maintenance and medical procedures.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
    • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients.

    Qualifications:

    • Current CMA certification.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
