    Job Summary: The Certified Medical Assistant will play a critical role in supporting our physicians and medical staff by providing high-quality patient care, assisting with clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for all patients.

    Responsibilities:

    Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and reviewing medication lists.

    Schedule patient appointments and manage patient check-ins and check-outs.

    Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining medical records, answering phones, and managing correspondence..

    Perform routine diagnostic tests such as urine screenings.

    Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.

    Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.

    Support the team in delivering multidisciplinary care to patients managing pain and or substance use disorders.

    Collecting Copays, deductibles, and coinsurances.

    Qualifications:

    Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program.

    Previous experience in pain management, addiction medicine, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

    Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information with professionalism.

    Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
