Responsibilities: • Speak with the patient about the reason for their visit and record their personal information and medical history to share with the healthcare staff • Assist healthcare staff with examinations by handing the appropriate medical instrument and supplies to the physician, positioning the patient, and helping with other tasks as needed • Get examination rooms ready for patients by ensuring the rooms are well-stocked and at a comfortable temperature and all equipment is sterilized • Obtain blood samples from patients and sent them to the laboratory for testing • Record patient vital signs including body temperature, respiration rate, blood pressure, and pulse and add the information to their chart Qualifications: • Ability use a computer to complete administrative tasks • Over 1 year of work experience as a medical assistant performing admin duties or similar role in a healthcare work environment • Should have a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or other certifying agency • High school diploma or GED • Solid communication and customer service skills Compensation: $20 hourly DOE
