    SPS, PC is a small private practice in the plastic surgery field in East Setauket, NY 11733. We are professional, fast-paced and fun.

    Certified Medical Assistant is currently needed for our 3 doctor Plastic Surgery Practice located in East Setauket. This is a Part Time Position between 25-32 hours per week. M-F No Weekends! High volume. Must be a team player, flexible and have the ability to multitask. Attention to detail is key. Experience working in a surgeon's office is required. Salary commensurate with experience.     Required experience:

    Certified Medical Assistant- 3 years minimum experience

    Experience in a Surgical practice preferred.

    Wound Care & Sterile Technique are a must!!

    Computer Skills Essential-iPad Experience in a medical/surgical office setting ++

    Required education:

    High school or equivalent

    Responsibilities

    Provide medical administrative support, including managing patient intake and maintaining electronic health records (EHR).

    Assist in patient care, preparing patients for surgical and injectable procedures

    Support wound care management and ensure adherence to medical terminology and protocols.

    Ensuring rooms are fully stocked and turned over after each patient

    Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after use

    Answer phones and field questions about medical issues

    Qualifications

    BLS Certification

    Certified Medical Assistant

    Excellent customer service skills

    Strong attention to detail
