Job Brief

We are seeking a professional and experienced Certified Medical Electrologist and Licensed Esthetician to join our team.

The successful candidate will specialize in the use of laser hair removal to remove unwanted body hair from patients and perform various facials, chemical peels, microneedling and IPL. They will also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to establish a comfortable and trusting relationship with clients, which is essential for repeat appointments and customer loyalty. Customer service skills to handle scheduling appointments, managing payments, and addressing client concerns effectively.

This includes conducting consultations to ensure effective treatment plans are tailored to each client’s specific needs.

Our ideal candidate is a certified medical Electrologist as well as a Licensed Esthetician with a keen eye for detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their hair removal and skin care needs.

Prepare and sterilize equipment before use.

Perform laser hair removal to remove unwanted hair.

Perform various facials, chemical peels, microneedling and IPL.

Provide aftercare advice and recommend products that aid in recovery and prevent infection.

Maintain records of treatments provided to each client.

Ensure the treatment room is clean and well-stocked.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in hair removal techniques and skin care techniques.

Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

Proven work experience as an Electrologist and Esthetician.

Completion of an approved Electrology program and Esthetician program.

Current state license in Electrology.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer skills for record-keeping and appointment scheduling.

Knowledge of sanitation and sterilization procedures.
