The CNA is a multi-skilled caregiver who functions under the direction of the professional Charge Nurse. The CNA assists with providing safe, age-appropriate care to the resident by performing basic resident care functions (i.e., ADLs, ambulation, vital signs, and approved technical procedures). The CNA also performs other duties necessary to ensure the delivery of quality care.
Job Duties
Assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, shaving, dental care, dressing, and eating. Duties may include but are not limited to proper nutrition, home management, housekeeping tasks, ambulation and transfer, and medically related activities, including obtaining vital signs.
Qualifications
Certificate of Nursing Assistant
Licensed as a CNA in the state of NY
Fully vaccinated
CPR Certification maintained through employment
