Job Description: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 6AM-2PM
Location: Pleasant Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hull, IA

We are dedicated to providing top-notch care to our residents and are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide basic patient care, including monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to nursing staff.
- Assist with mobility and transportation, ensuring residents are comfortable and safe.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including sanitizing equipment and communal areas.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records as required by facility policies and Iowa regulations.
- Support residents with recreational activities and social engagement.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
- Participate in training and professional development as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified nursing assistant in the state of Iowa.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed for patient care and transport.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
- Ability to assist residents in and out of bed, chairs, and during mobility.
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks and physically demanding duties throughout the shift.
