We are seeking a certified nursing assistant to play a pivotal role in supporting an elderly woman with her daily needs and overall well-being in a home environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in patient condition to the family.
Supporting mobility efforts, including transferring patient between bed, wheelchair, and other locations.
Assisting with making meals and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting care activities.
Providing compassionate emotional support to patient and their family.
Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining cleanliness in patient areas.
Collaborating with the family in order to deliver high-quality care.
Assisting with additional tasks as assigned.
Must-have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Active CNA certification in Virginia.
Ability to follow care plans, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a home environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patient, family, and medical staff.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
Physical stamina to lift and assist patient safely and perform duties during long shifts.
Compensation and work hours:
$20/hour (must have CNA)
Work hours: Monday-Friday (11-7) or Saturday-Sunday (11-7)
