Responsibilities
- The Certified Nursing Assistant will be under the general supervision of a licensed registered nurse.
- Demonstrates clinical competence in the provision of nursing care specific to adult patients and understands and utilizes the growth/development stages of adults.
- Continuous communication and frequent contact with employees, physicians, visitors and patients.
- This position requires one to work varying schedules and in various units to meet the shifting needs of this location.

- There may be exposure to some potentially toxic substances, such as medication and cleaning agents
Qualifications
- At least six months’ verifiable experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Capability to maneuver successfully under pressure and communicate efficiently without lowering morale in and out of team settings.
- The ability to navigate swiftly with accuracy and consistency in meeting exact tasks and standards
- Effective interpersonal skills appropriate to work closely with others on a team
- Capable enough to commit, sustain, concentrate and focus on lengthy tasks
- Display a high level of rationale, interpretive or reasoning skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate creatively through writing.
- The position requires pushing, pulling, and lifting materials not exceeding 50 pounds (Any workload exceeding 50 pounds will require assistance)
- The ability to perform rapid repetitive motions with cognitive alertness needed for physical/manual duties necessary to use and operate all office equipment such as: grasping, writing, standing, reaching, sitting, lifting, walking, bending, climbing, visual clarity (Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near and far visions), listening and hearing (Capability to hear warning horns or sirens)
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Graduate/Diploma required
- Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate required
- Maintain a valid BCLS card and AB508 required
