Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CNA Class Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with at least one year of CNA experience who enjoys working in an educational setting. The CNA Class Assistant will work closely with our Nurse Instructor to help students prepare for their state CNA certification exam. Although this position is not considered an instructor role under state regulations, the assistant will be an invaluable resource for students, providing supplemental guidance, skills review, and exam prep.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Nurse Instructor in hands-on skills labs and clinical training sessions.
• Provide guidance and support to students during skills review sessions to ensure they achieve competency in all required CNA skills.
• Help students prepare for the CNA state exam through practice sessions and Q&A support.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment for students.
• Offer supplemental feedback and demonstrations on key CNA skills.
• Help manage and organize materials, equipment, and supplies for training sessions.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to all state regulations and school policies.
• Support students by answering questions and providing clarifications about coursework and practical skills.
Qualifications:
• Valid Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and helping others succeed.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the Nurse Instructor and other staff members.
• Familiarity with CNA state certification requirements and practical skills.
• Organized, patient, and detail-oriented.
Schedule:
• This is a part-time position. The schedule will vary based on course and clinical sessions.
• Some weekend availability may be required based on class schedules.
