Able Rehab Staffing LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace. We are looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the home health setting to treat patients.
This is a PRN opportunity where you set your schedule and geography and take only the number of visits you want! We can keep you very busy, or this is a great opportunity to supplement another job.
The ideal COTA candidate will have at least 1 year of prior professional experience (home health experience NOT required) and must hold a current Colorado COTA license.
Pay rates are dependent on experience and pay is per visit. New grads, and all experience levels, are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities of the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, COTA:
Conduct occupational therapy program to facilitate development and rehabilitation of mentally, physically, or emotionally handicapped.
Carry-out program involving activities, such as manual arts and crafts; practice in functional, prevocational, vocational, and homemaking skills, and activities of daily living; and participation in sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities designed to help clients or handicapped persons develop or regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to handicaps.
Consult with other members of rehabilitation team to select activity program consistent with needs and capabilities of individual and to coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities.
Select constructive activities suited to individual’s physical capacity, intelligence level, and interest to upgrade individual to maximum independence, prepare individual for return to employment, assist in restoration of functions, and aid in adjustment to disability.
Teach individuals skills and techniques required for participation in activities

Requirements of the COTA:
Current state licenses in the state of Colorado
1 year of prior professional experience preferred.
Current CPR card.
Current Driver’s License, Automobile Insurance and Reliable Transportation.
