Ophthalmic Assistant. Preferred: some experience but willing to train. Ophthalmic Assistant experienced in assisting Ophthalmologist during exams. Downtown medical center location. Job requires working at rapid pace and performing complete workups. Skills required for this position consists of Visual Field Test Exams, Assisting Laser Procedures, Scheduling Outpatient Surgeries and some office Appointments, OCT Testing, Lesometry, Refractions, Acquire Patient Histories and complete electronic medical records, administer Eye Medications and instructions to Patients regarding a variety of Eye Related Issues as directed by doctor.
