    About the Role

    We are seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented, and experienced certified paralegal to support a Partner and trial team in a fast-paced litigation environment. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask efficiently while managing complex medical malpractice defense cases. Insurance Defense experience helpful.

    Key Responsibilities

    Draft Subpoenas – Written discovery.

    Medical Records Management – Organize and analyze medical records; create timelines and chronologies.

    Expert Witness Support – Conduct detailed background research on expert witnesses and facilitate communication to ensure they receive necessary case materials.

    Document Production – Maintain organization of discovery materials and case files.

    Social Media & Medical Research – Conduct social media investigations on key witnesses and research relevant medical literature.

    Case Analysis – Assist attorneys in identifying case strengths and weaknesses by understanding medical principles and legal strategy.

    Client Reporting Support – Draft factual summaries and case reports for client updates.

    Technology & Database Management – Work within legal databases, create spreadsheets, and develop visual aids for case strategy.

    Trial Preparation & Travel – Travel 1-2 times per year to rural Oklahoma for trial preparation and in-court support.

    Billing & Compliance – Adhere to strict client litigation and billing guidelines, ensuring accurate time tracking.

    Qualifications

    Paralegal Experience: Minimum 3 years (Required)

    Microsoft Office Proficiency: Minimum 2 years (Preferred)

    Certification: Must be certified by NALA

    Skills: Strong written communication, organizational abilities, research proficiency, and ability to work under pressure in a high-stress litigation environment.
