Certified Peer
The Certified Peer will have the primary responsibility of being a peer support to clients while they are in our in residential treatment. Works with clinical team in promoting change within clients so that they may lead healthier lives. This includes facilitation of peer support groups, individual peer support through sharing of personal experience when appropriate and client advocacy within clinical team meetings.
Full-Time / Non-Exempt
Hourly Rate starts art $20.50/hour
This is a 2nd shift position (4pm-12am) and amy include some midshifts
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree preferred and peer support certification required within 90 days of hire. Previous experience with recovering persons preferred. Previous experience with an electronic health record preferred. Ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred. Must have organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
*Valid Driver’s license required with ability to transport others using company vehicles.
