Certified Quality Engineer @ New Milford, Connecticut(1099 CONTRACTOR)
Responsibilities:
Inspect the transformer repair process at Neeltran Inc.
Report inspection results and status
Confirm and report any findings and their solutions
Daily and weekly reports will be submitted using Microsoft Word or Excel.
Technical Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in working as a certified Quality Engineer
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
In-depth knowledge of transformer components and repair techniques
Familiarity with IEEE C57.12 and IEC 60076 standards
Certifications needed:
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) by ASQ or equivalent
Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) by ASQ
Certified Electrical Inspector (CEI) by IAEI or similar
OSHA Safety Certification (OSHA 30-hour General Industry or similar)
Skills & Experience Requirements:
Experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the inspection and repair of transformers.
Previous experience working with heavy industries, especially in a quality control/inspection capacity.
Comply with all professional ProQC and manufacturing site guidelines and safety requirements.
Good communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Shift Hours: Current Project is 3 weeks, 6-8 hours per day || Contractor will do another Project in New Milford, Connecticut (or nearby areas) as and when offered.
