    POSITION SUMMARY Provides assistance to both staff and temporary housing clients by identifying issues and concerns in the Oregon Change Clinic Sober Living Motel, aka., “The Barracks”. This position is responsible for general monitoring of the community, identifying issues, reporting issues and ensuring the safety of the community. The hours of this shift will be 8pm-4am.

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO

    Complete client curfew check-ins nightly

    Monitor the community through the use of the security camera

    Conduct periodic inspections of common areas in the building to monitor the building, clients and guest behavior

    Maintain general housekeeping of common workspaces, lobby, and staff restrooms, as needed

    Submit incident reports and notify staff regarding incidents that occur during your shift, concerning client's behavior that you observe in a timely manner

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    High School Diploma or GED

    PSS or CRM certification prior to hire date

    Knowledge of chemical dependency, additions and mental health concerns

    Must pass a pre-employment TB test and background check

    Must adhere to agency's non discrimination policies

    Ability to effectively interact with co workers, and clients with diverse backgrounds, religious views, political affiliation, cultural backgrounds, lifestyles and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Work involves exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
