Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Safe School Officer to join our team in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing security protocols, responding to emergencies and critical incidents, building positive relationships within the school community, and preventing conflicts. Key responsibilities include conducting safety drills and training, as well as maintaining thorough reporting and documentation.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Training in law enforcement, military, or security fields is preferred
Experience and Skills
Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in military, law enforcement, corrections, security, or emergency response (including first responders or other relevant fields).
Proficient in:
Firearms and tactical training (Advanced)
Emergency response systems and protocols (Intermediate)
Incident reporting and documentation tools (Intermediate)
Physical ability to stand, walk, and move around both indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Licenses
Must possess D, G, DL, CCW licenses.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Certifications
Must hold the Aaron Feis Guardian Safe School Officer Training
Certificate.

Other Requirements
Willingness to undergo and pass a drug test (s. 112.0455), psychological evaluation (Chapter 490, Department of Law Enforcement), and background check.
Must possess own firearm, duty belt (Level 3 retention holster), and a total of 5 magazines.
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
