    The Surgical Technician will assist the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.

    The Surgical Technician will work in collaboration under the direction of the RN and Surgeon during surgical procedures.

    What will you do in this role?

    • Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures
    • Demonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments and supplies needed for surgical cases
    • Communicates and participates in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Would Strongly Prefer candidates that have 2 years of CST experience.
    • Preference is acute care experience (1 year) would consider someone that does not have acute care experience.
    • MUST have CST certification in hand.

    SCHEDULE:

    • Shifts: (will take call after hours, overnight, and weekend.
    • Days: 630a-7p (3) 12hr shifts 630a-5p (4) 10hr shifts Evenings: 1030-11p (3) 12hr shifts 1030-9p (4) 10hr shifts
    • The call is shared equally amongst all surgical techs in the department. There is a 30 minute response time to call.

    COMPENSATION:

    $22.66 per hour
