Certified Weld Inspector

Pay: Up to $38/hr with all certifications

Description:

• The AWS Certified Welding Inspector will be joining the the Quality Control department in the fabrication facility.  The inspector will ensure that all fabricated products are inspected and in compliance with contract specifications. We maintain certifications with AWS, ASNT, and NACE.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as an AWS Certified Weld Inspector
• Ability to work in a safe, cautious manner, exercising care and concern for people, equipment, and product
• Competency in being able to prioritize, make decisions, follow instructions, recognize, and adhere to standards of quality
• Work independently and with others, demonstrating responsible behavior and attention to detail
• Ability to perform daily preventative maintenance measures to ensure safety of equipment and work environment
• UT & MT level II experience is a plus
• NDT certification experience will require documented hours for consideration

Job Duties:

• Focus on compliance with customer and company safety programs
• Ensure that all fabricated products are inspected and in compliance with contract specifications
