    You could be working at either our West Carmel / Zionsville or Fishers MedSpa on the Northside of Indianapolis. Primary location will be at Fishers, however, some time may be spent to gap fill at either location. Anticipated work time is 25 - 30 hours per week.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside nurses and medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. You will also be helping manage the inventory of medical supplies, setting up machines and testing equipment, and cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience.

    Responsibilities

    Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment

    Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs

    Assist NP's with Medical Weight Loss procedures

    Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties

    Greeting patients and ensuring patient information & paperwork is up to date

    Scheduling appointments and taking concise messages

    Answer incoming customer inquiries & demonstrate telephone courtesy to patients & visitors

    Maintain a calm demeanor when working in high volume situations

    Maintain a good working relationship with spa staff

    Gain knowledge of spa services provided to respond to patient inquiries

    Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies

    Record customer information within our CRM database

    Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns

    Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies

    Effectively collect and balance payments from patients upon departure

    Adhere to all HIPPA and OSHA regulated standards and maintain strict client confidentiality

    Other duties as requested

    Qualifications

    BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired

    Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or accredited Nursing Program

    Preferred previous experience at a Medical Office offering injectables &/or laser treatments

    1-5+ years of related work experience

    Able to work some evenings until 7 pm & two + Saturdays a month

    Strong attention to detail

    Good computer skills

    Honest & trustworthy

    Able to work alone and within a team environment

    Demonstrated attention to detail and organization.

    EMR Client scheduling experience a plus

    Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
