    Job Description

    As the Channel Marketing Specialist , you will be responsible for driving wholesale business growth through strategic go-to-market initiatives. In this role, you will lead and manage programs that drive loyalty to the Outdoors brand and wholesale channel partners. You will also collaborate with specific districts on the development of marketing materials for various channel customers that deliver tailored solutions to support the growth and expansion of the company’s brands, products, and services.

    As the Channel Marketing Specialist , you will provide strategic insight, develop project plans, and drive the execution of projects that support the growth of Outdoors dealers, builders and contractors – including program development and management, omnichannel marketing efforts along with industry shows and events. This role will prepare experienced specialists for future growth in the marketing function as you incorporate strategic planning beyond day-to-day and project execution.

    Location: This is a HYBRID position that will work three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) out of our Maumee, OH key office location.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead dealer, builder and contractor programs including program strategy, requirements and enhancements, promotions, and other marketing initiatives to drive growth.
    • Develop and execute promotions that grow Outdoors product sales and drive brand loyalty.
    • Support the development and review of custom marketing literature and merchandising aids for assigned districts and channel partners.
    • Manage local and regional shows, events and customer engagements for all Outdoors brands ensuring brand representation, product assortment and customer engagement at all events.
    • Create and manage local and regional tradeshow strategy for all outdoors brands by collaborating cross functionally internally and externally with tradeshow vendors.
    • Manage Tradeshow Kit/Tabletop Package Strategy for all outdoors brands.
    • Responsible for managing project budgets and marketing spend for assigned projects.
    • Prepare and present project updates to internal and external project stakeholders.
    • Manage outside agencies and vendors as needed.
    • Collaborate with assigned districts and key customers on field requests for marketing support.
    • Support other marketing and sales initiatives as needed.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications
    • 2+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or event marketing/trade shows
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong project management skills managing both traditional and digital-based marketing tools.
    • Ability to work with complex products and attention to detail.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Background in both B2C and B2B (channel) marketing
    • Experience in building products category
    • Experience with Project Management and Marketing Production
    • Creative and strategic mindset that works well in fast-paced cross-functional team environments
