    At HeiTech Services, our mission is to help the Federal Government keep Americans safe.

    The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products requires the assistance of minors age 16 – 20 to attempt the purchase of tobacco products from internet retailers. Chaperones will accompany and work with Underage Purchasers to carry out this program. The goal of the program is to ensure internet tobacco retailers are complying with Federal laws and regulations that prevent them from selling tobacco products to minors. The hours for this position are scheduled during school holidays and after work. We are willing accommodate as best we can with your current schedule.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Chaperones will participate in a short training on the project
    • Chaperones will drive Underage Purchasers to and from the store locations up to a 60-mile radius
    • Chaperones will be responsible for the minors' safety and behavior during an investigation day
    • Chaperones are required to fill out a short report and provide it to the Project Manager

    Skills and Abilities Required

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to successfully complete a short training class
    • Have flexibility to coordinate dates and times for attempted purchases
    • Access to email, internet, phone and reliable transportation

    Minimum Education and Experience Required

    • Must be a mature individual over 21 years of age with a strong work ethic
    • High School diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Prior experience in law enforcement, military or security guard duty preferred
    • Must not have any prior law enforcement convictions
    • Must have and maintain a valid driver license and a clean driving record
    • Must provide proof of a clean driving record
    • Must have and maintain current automobile liability insurance
    • Must be able to successfully complete a short training class
    • Must have access to a computer with camera for the interview
