Job Description
The office of Charles DeHart, III Standing Chapter 13 Trustee is seeking to hire a full-time accountant/CPA.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervise the bookkeeping/accounting department consisting of the funds manager, bookkeeper and receipt clerk
- Analyze information by developing spreadsheet reports
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and monthly proof of case reports
- Prepare and reconcile Trustee bank accounts
- Prepare monthly U.S. Trustee reports, budgets and amended budgets and annual reports
- Handle the annual audit
- Oversea the monthly disbursement process
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in accounting and a minimum of 10 years' experience in public accounting
- Knowledge of Quickbooks and Excel
- Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, confidentiality, time management, data entry management
