Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Blakeney and Waverly area of South Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny primarily for their newborn twins (they also have a 4 year old and 22 month old who have a separate nanny). The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 6:30 pm. The parents both have about 12 weeks off of work for maternity/paternity leave, during that time period the hours will be 40 hours a week on average, then after this time period the hours would be closer to 50 hours a week.

The best nanny for this family would be reliable, attentive, and experienced in caring for infants (prior twins experience would be preferred). The nanny’s main focus would be to provide excellent care to the family’s twins throughout the day. The family will rely on their nanny to support the mom through her journey of breastfeeding the twins. The nanny would be responsible for helping with burping, bottle feeding breast milk as needed, changing, and helping the twins establish a sleep schedule during the day. The nanny should be engaging with the twins throughout the day, take them on strolls, do developmental activities (such as tummy time), play with toys, and foster an age appropriate educational environment during the day. As the twins grow older the family would like for them to be involved in age appropriate activities in the community that will encourage their overall development. The parents see this as a long-term role and are looking for a nanny to work with them for years to come. Both parents work from home and they have a nanny who cares for their older children in the home daily. The nanny would need to be comfortable with that.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the twins (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the twins on an age appropriate level

• Playing with the twins both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands on learning activities with the twins

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Twin’s laundry and changing twin’s sheets weekly

• Washing and sanitizing twins bottles and pump parts

• Stocking diapers and wipes, and things for the twins

• Picking up after themselves and the twins

• Emptying diaper trash

Pets - The family has a Cocker Spaniel. She mostly stays upstairs with parents who work from home.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts end of April 2023

• Legal pay is offered at $24.00 - $25.00 an hour, negotiable depending on experience
