Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Myers Park neighborhood of Charlotte, NC in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their daughter who will be 18 months old and a baby, due at the end of May. The Nanny would be needed Monday - Friday, 50 - 60 hours per week. There can be variance in these times due to parents' work schedules, and additional babysitting requests can arise on occasion. The family will also need their nanny more hours if a parent is traveling for work, and they need a nanny to be open to traveling with the family as needed.

The best nanny for this family would be professional, dependable, neat, and organized. The family is looking for an experienced career nanny who has previous experience caring for Toddlers and Infants. The nanny will be responsible for keeping the children on their schedule, meeting and exceeding their daily needs, and engaging with them throughout the day. The nanny should be focused on the children’s growth and development. The nanny should also be proactive and creative in coming up with fun age appropriate activities to do with the children throughout the day. These activities would include, but not be limited to: reading, playing with toys, doing learning activities inside and outside the home, arts and crafts, tummy time, going on walks, playing outdoors, listening to music, doing sensory activities, and more.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children

• Help dress the children for the day

• Bathing the children as needed

• Changing diapers and helping with potty training as needed

• Engaging with the child on an age appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• The children’s laundry

• Prepping the children’s food and feeding the children

• Washing and putting away dishes, bottles, etc.

• Sanitizing bottles, toys, and surfaces

• Stock diapers and other items

• Emptying diaper pail as needed

Pet Care Responsibilities:

The family has two dogs and a Sphinx cat. The nanny would be asked to let the dog out in the backyard as needed.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience

• College degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Pass a national background check, including driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• English proficiency, any additional languages spoken are a bonus

• Must be up to date on the Covid vaccine and booster (as recommended), Flu shot, and Tdap shot.
