    Job Description

     POSITION PURPOSE

    To support the VP of Human Resources in planning, organizing, coordinating and monitoring the work of the HR Team and to perform administrative tasks for the Directors and VP of Human Resources.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

    • Project and Meeting Management for Human Resources Team.
    • Ensure department meetings are properly structured, effective and scheduled.
    • Track and monitor project tasks (for internal department and internal department projects).
    • Ensure other departments receive key information to support cross functional integration
    • Provide visibility and status updates on department projects.
    • Support VP of HR in managing project timelines and support timely delegation of responsibilities
    • File maintenance of human resources records and documentation, with the ability to manage confidentiality.
    • Acts as a liaison between different departments in the organization.

     

    DEPARTMENT COMMUNICATION

    • Support communication to the field and other departments
    • Create collaterals to support department projects for various audiences at all levels of the organization (PowerPoints, flyers, pamphlets, web postings, email videos, etc.)
    • Prepare

     

    DEPARTMENT ADMINISTRATION

    • Complete various tasks for Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Legal Services and Compliance as needed.
    • Track and monitor various HR projects simultaneously and support all efforts to completion.
    • Collaborate with VP or HR, HR Directors, and HR personnel to support objectives.
    • Support travel logistics as requested
    • Maintain department master calendar
    • Maintain calendar for department leadership
    • Support VP as needed

    11. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, students, parents, the community, and administrative staff. As unique situations present themselves, the employee must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image.
    12. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
    13. Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
    14. Ability to prepare comprehensive reports, including writing report sections, integrating content, and formatting business documents.

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
    • Bachelor’s in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
    • 1-3 years’ experience working in Human Resources.
    • 1-3 years Project Management or Executive Assistant experience preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience using MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
    • Experience working with ADP or similar HCM is strongly preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    While performing the responsibilities of this position, the work environment characteristics listed below are representative of the environment the employee will encounter:

    None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Work demands are met working in typical office setting or school environment.

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • No physical exertion required.
    • Travel within or outside of Florida.
    • Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.

     

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

    Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with EduServe’s salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by EduServe.

    FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY

    Position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

    EVALUATION

    Performance will be evaluated in accordance with EduServe’s policy.
