    Requirements:

    • Strong command of English language; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Poised and professional in mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Background in Law enforcement/security background required
    • Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
    • Exceptional knowledge of Manhattan
    • Must be able to lift items and luggage up to 50 lbs. and assist in packing and unpacking of vehicles
    • Valid Driver’s License, as well as a clean driving record, is required
    • Comfortable with vehicle smart technology and adept using smartphones
    • Extremely trustworthy and responsible
    • Good with school-aged children; confident helping children as needed while they’re in vehicle and walking them in and out of school
    • Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities
    • Legally able to work in the United States
    • CPR & First Aid certified a plus but not required
    • Must be comfortable with dogs (2 in household)

     

     

    Job Description:

    A lovely private family seeks an experienced, discreet, and reliable Chauffeur to assist with their daily driving needs, including transporting their two children.

    This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation shared among two other drivers. Candidates should be prepared for occasional flexibility with longer hours. Additionally, flexibility to travel to the Hamptons during the summer months is required (housing provided).

    The ideal candidate will have an impeccable driving record and a strong commitment to passenger safety. In-depth knowledge of the New York area is essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, communicative, and able to contribute to the congenial atmosphere of their family. A vehicle is provided for this position.

     

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Transportation Services: Safely and efficiently drive the principals to and from school, activities, appointments, events, meetings, and other engagements, while strictly adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
    • Time Management: Develop a thorough understanding of the principals' schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures, adjusting for potential delays or changes in plans.
    • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the assigned vehicle, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition.
    • Privacy and Discretion: Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with the principals, their family, friends, and associates.
    • Customer Service: Always demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor, providing exceptional customer service to the family and any guests.
    • Miscellaneous Tasks: Assist with additional duties as needed, such as running errands, managing personal appointments, and overseeing vehicle-related logistics.
