We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the food preparation and cooking activities at our facility. You will also supervise and train kitchen staff, ensure food safety standards are met, and maintain a high level of quality in all dishes served.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are innovative and appealing to clients
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring they are presented beautifully and meet quality standards
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and improve existing ones
- Oversee banquet or catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of food
- Manage food costs by minimizing waste and optimizing portion control
- Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong culinary skills with the ability to create delicious and visually appealing dishes
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and customers
- Degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred but not required

Background check

Hours: 10AM-1PM, 4-5 days a week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22-$25 per hour
