Job Summary in this position you will be responsible for using high-quality, farm fresh, gmo-free and locally sourced ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons, follows recipes, keeps consistent plates, level-headed, works well under pressure, good leadership skills, and works well in a team environment.

Meet Prime Costs
Keep moral up
Lead, mentor, and manage culinary team -Enforcing Employee Handbook, handling and managing employee conflicts. First step verbal, second step write up, third step termination.
Ensure compliance with health codes and regulations -cooler/storage organization
Aid in interview process and building a strong team
Scheduling - done at least two weeks in advance
Aid in menu development and features
Oversee and maintain consistent portions, plating, quality
Maintain FIFO, rotation
Oversee Prep List and 86’d items
Communication with FOH management to ensure a successful service
Serve Safe Certified
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a chef or cook
Certification from culinary school preferred
ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
Excellent time management skills
Strong leadership skills
