Responsibilities: • Manage controllable department expenses such as food, supplies, uniforms, equipment, and collaborate with vendors to achieve the highest quality products at the most reasonable price • Ensure that all food preparation, including processes, portioning, and garnishing, is well supervised, and confirm that the finished dishes are visually appealing • Exceed guest expectations while increasing sales and profits and overseeing the success of day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen • Set and monitor performance criteria for team members, as well as provide advice and direction to support and maintain an efficient kitchen • Establish a collaborative environment for kitchen workers by educating recruits and hiring personnel that fit the corporate culture Qualifications: • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • This role requires 7-8 years of culinary experience • Outstanding management abilities, as well as experience leading, inspiring, and building a team • Understanding and compliance with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage Compensation: $70,000 + bonus
