Responsibilities
Design and create menus inspired by Japanese culinary traditions and seasonal ingredients.
Ensure the kitchen is fully equipped with tools and ingredients for daily operations.
Prepare and present dishes with attention to detail and authenticity.
Oversee and delegate tasks to kitchen staff, maintaining smooth operations.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate restocking as needed.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Japanese Chef or Cook.
Certification from a recognized culinary school is a plus.
ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification.
In-depth knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques, ingredients, and recipes.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
