    The Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls is seeking a full to part-time cook to join our team. Organization in prepping for daily service is essential to ensure a smooth operation in our open kitchen, where guests can admire your culinary skills as they pass by. Your responsibilities will include prepping for and working our dinner service. While prior experience is beneficial, we are willing to provide training to the right candidate. Responsibilities: • Ensure food is presented in an attractive manner • Maintain a clean working environment and follow all sanitation standards. • Stock and organize food trucks put away incoming stock, and rotate accordingly • Clean up the kitchen after the shift and take care of leftover food • Take out trash • Put away and store food properly, date, rotate, etc. • Communicate what needs to be placed for food orders to the restaurant manager, write down items low on stock, etc. Qualifications: • Organized and efficient at prepping necessary recipe items • Ability to work alone or with a team • Ability to follow a recipe • Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs • Have basic food handling and food safety skills • Willingness to be trained and learn new things • A passion for food Compensation: $16 per hour
